The slim, elongated rugby ball shape makes it ideal for stillwaters and slow moving venues. A hollow 1.5mm tip combined with a 0.6mm wire stem offers the float excellent buoyancy and stability.

The Carp 7 can be successfully used to present a multitude of hook baits, including maggots, casters, pellets, sweetcorn, punched bread and worms.

As with the rest of the Carp family, it features a super tough acrylic paint finish and our unique black stainless steel spring eyes.

The Carp 7 copes especially well in deep venues and is excellent when you need to combat surface drift and undertow. It is available in nine sizes from 0.2g right up to 1.5g.

The oval body offers good stability, particularly in windy conditions. It is also made from high-grade balsa for maximum buoyancy, which is protected with our special acrylic paint finish to create a super-tough ‘shell’.

A 1.5mm hollow Glow Tip in red, orange or yellow offers excellent visibility and works well with a wide variety of hook baits. A long, durable carbon stem is securely bonded into the body and offers good stability without affecting the float’s overall balance.

The AS6 also features our unique black stainless steel spring eye. This is lighter than a conventional spring eye and also cannot be ripped out of the body like a traditional side eye can. Being double wound also ensures there is no chance of the main line getting trapped.

The AS6 is a versatile, no-nonsense design, exceptionally made and built to last.

Features:

A fine 1mm to 1.25mm fibreglass antenna features our special Glow Tip paint finish, which radiates brightly in all light conditions. It will register the shyest of bites and works particularly well with hook baits such as maggots, pinkies, casters, bread punch and bloodworm.

These floats are constructed in our own factories using high-grade balsa for maximum buoyancy and coated with our unique, extra-strong, acrylic paint finish for maximum durability. As with the rest of the series, the AS7 is fitted with one of our unique black, stainless steel, spring eyes. It also boasts a sturdy stainless steel stem for exceptional stability.

The AS3 is produced in a highly buoyant, light-grade balsa then given a special coating of our super tough acrylic paint that gives each float a protective shell-like finish. Couple this with a strong carbon stem bonded right into the body and a stainless steel spring eye located at the base of the hollow tip and this all adds up to a very strong and durable float that won’t let you down.

This pattern is designed for commercial fisheries but can also be used successfully on natural waters too. With its slim profile body and sensitive yet bright 1.2mm hollow tip, it provides little resistance to shy biting F1s, carp and silverfish and is perfect for baits such as maggots, casters and expander pellets.

Glow tips on AS pole floats are reinforced through the section where they join the body. This strengthens the hollow buoyant tip at a critical point and provides an extra strong foundation for the eye.

AS floats also feature a double wound stainless steel eye mounted at the base of the tip. Being placed here offers the mechanically strongest position without piercing the body, and risking water ingress, therefore affecting the floats performance. Being double wound (i.e. the eye is fully round) means the line cannot get trapped and damaged as is often the case with conventional, single wound, U-shape eyes. These special eyes are also made of blackened stainless steel to match the body, giving a more distinct demarcation line to the glow tip, so bites are easier to spot!

It has a fairly slim, body down profile matched with a durable carbon stem and a 1.5mm hollow antenna. This ensures that it is ideal for a multitde of baits and tactics, from maggots and worms to pellets and even paste fishing.

As with the rest of the Carp family, it features a super tough acrylic paint finish and our unique black stainless steel spring eyes.

A wide range of sizes ensures the Carp 6 will cope with shallow and deep venues. It is also a great choice for maintaining good presentation where wind is an issue.

The slim profile of the AS5 offers great bite detection and cuts through the water really cleanly on the strike. Importantly, this float is also extremely strong and durable with a top-grade balsa body protected by a special acrylic ‘shell’ that is incredibly tough and hardwearing.

Each float has a medium length carbon stem securely bonded into the body, plus a 1.5mm hollow Glow Tip reinforced with a fibreglass spigot.

The blackened stainless steel spring eye is lighter than most others on the market and also double wound to avoid the chances of the line getting trapped or pinched.

The AS5 is available in eight sizes, from 0.1g right up to 1g, making it a really versatile float that will cope with a wide variety venues.

Like all Drennan pole floats, the AS5 is hand built and assembled in our own factories.
