ESP Camo Hair Rig Gripper Barbed

Product information:

Expertly tied to exacting standards using ESP Camo Sink Link braid and ultra-sharp and durable Cryogen Gripper hooks. The integrated Streamliner Rig Sleeve over the size 9 swivel helps prevents tangles on the cast. Optimum hair length in relation to the hook size, Hair Stops and Extender Stops are included. The Extender Stops are very handy if a larger bait is required or for snowman type baits.

Above the hook there is a Streamliner Boom which helps prevent tangles on the cast and also pushes the hooklink at full extension (9” / 23cm) away from the lead for optimum bolt rig performance. The top end of the rig terminates in a small loop attached to a Quick Change swivel. This allows rigs to be changed quickly and easily without having to break anything down.

These chod rigs feature Cryogen Stiff Rigger’s which are incredibly strong with super sharp, durable points. Tied to bristle filament which is set in an optimum curve, they incorporate a smooth rotating Uni-Link swivel and a metal bait screw to provide easy, secure attachment of any type of pop-up.

ESP Gripper Combi Rig Brown Barbed

Product information:

Tied to exacting standards in the ESP factory, these rigs comprise the super strong and sharp Cryogen Grippers to Tungsten Loaded semi stiff coated braid. Available in green and brown and in barbed and barbless sizes 4, 6 and 8.

Constructed in the classic combi-rig style, these rigs are a highly affective presentation.  The hair is the optimum length for each hook but extender stops are included to elongate the hair for larger baits and snowman set ups. The ESP Line Aligner sleeve is an essential feature, which helps the hook to turn and prick as the hook link is tightened against the lead.

ESP Mega Method Rigs

We recommend a short, soft braided hook link of around 4” (10cm) long to be used with the Mega Method feeders. A hook link of stiffer material such as coated braid or fluorocarbon has a tendency to loop up when used with the method. As the groundbait or pellet break down, stiffer hook links can actually dislodge the hook bait and almost spring it out of its strategic position on top of the feeder. This particularly applies to counterbalanced hook baits.
 

So to perfectly complement the feeders we have also launched a range of Mega Method Rigs. Also designed to be used in solid PVA bags, these rigs provide deadly effective presentation and hook holds and combined with the enclosed Extender stops, a wide variety of hook baits can be used.
 

The overall length of 4” (10cm) is just right for tucking the hook bait back inside the method mix moulded onto the feeder. The super strong, soft Camo Sink Link braid is really inconspicuous and does not loop up or be prone to dislodge the hook bait from the feeder as the bait disperses, an inherent problem with stiffer hook link materials.
 

The hair lengths have been kept purposely short to accommodate small baits such as artificial buoyant sweetcorn or small boilies and pellets, whilst the Extender Stops allow for the hair to be lengthened and larger baits or combinations of bait to be used.
 

The loop at the top end of the hook link allows for quick connection and removal from a clip link or swivel, very useful when ‘speed fishing’ on prolific runs waters.
 

Tied using ESP Curve-Shanx Teflon coated hooks which are super sharp, strong and their shape ensures excellent anti ejection and hook holding properties without the need for shrink tube.

ESP Trig Hammer Ronnie Rig Barbed

Product information:

New improved Ronnie’s including the super effective Trig-Hammers. This incredibly sharp long-shank pattern has become established as ‘the’ hook of choice for thousands of anglers when using the Ronnie rig. The subtle, curved shank creates an aggressive angle and along with the needle sharp point, leads to exceptionally good hook holds and a formidable hooked-to-landed ratio.
 

These rigs also incorporate a metal bait screw, which makes pop-up attachment quick, easy and secure. The Grip Stop is located in the optimum position on the bend and this will not slip even when extreme range casting. The hook is attached to a Ronnie Ring Swivel which is sleeved with 1.6mm shrink tube.
