The bag also features a sculpted back and padded shoulder strap for extra comfort. It also has two clips which are used to securely attach the Specialist Compact Unhooking Mat. The two extendable carry straps on the top of the bag can be used to hold extra items of tackle/clothing.

The bag has three external zipped pockets, along with a foil-lined top compartment which is ideal for storing bait and other items of tackle. The inside of the bag is padded and also has an internal clear zipped pocket on the bottom of the lid.
 

For extra comfort, the back and shoulder straps are both padded and shaped to ensure maximum comfort whilst walking to your chosen swim. The bag also features a padded carry handle and extendable carry straps on the top of the bag to hold items such as a waterproof jacket.
 

Another neat little feature is the addition of two clips, these allow the Specialist Compact Unhooking Mat to be securely clipped onto the bag.

The Specialist Compact Unhooking Mat is made from a tough and durable 600 denier fabric with a fish-friendly waterproof material on the inside and a double layered foam inner which offers great protection to the fish.

The mat has two velcro fastening straps to which keep the mat securely rolled to save on space. There is also D rings situated at either side of the mat which allows the angler to peg the mat down in windy conditions.

The mat also comes with two clips which allow you to easily attach it to any of the Drennan Specialist bags.

Designed for triangle nets with arms of up to 36” this tough waterproof sleeve has fully welded seams and roll over top to prevent water and odour from escaping after a successful fishing session.

The mats are generously padded with a wipe-clean soft surface and tough outer material, the same as used on the Specialist luggage range.  Reinforced webbing carry handles make it easy to transport the carp back to the water after weighing and photos.  When returning the fish the draw-cord at one end can be slackened off to easily slide the carp back into the water.  Drainage holes in each corner minimise the collection of water within the mat when the sides are raised.

The Compact mat is aimed at the short-session, travel-light angler and is perfect for specimens of all sizes including carp to over 30lb.

The mats roll up nice and tight for transit and storage.
